Subject of the webinar is SUMO, an open, free traffic simulation tool suite that enables the modeling and analysis of intermodal transport systems, including road vehicles, public transport, freight logistics and pedestrians. In the first part of the webinar, SUMO- expert Dr. Ing. Jakob Erdmann from DLR will present some basic functions of the simulation software. Afterwards Prof. Jairo Espinosa from the National University of Colombia explains practical examples of traffic modeling with the help of SUMO.
