On 24 October 2018, the H2020 project MAVEN together with CoEXist and TransAID invites to another workshop on urban traffic management in an increasingly connected and automated transport system. The workshop takes place in Greenwich, and is targeted at local authorities and other urban transport stakeholders with an interest in connected, cooperative and automated transport.

They are invited to explore how increasingly instrumented vehicles are likely to behave on city roads and how this may affect the traffic management task and wider transport goals, to gain insight to the role that communication technology can play in the shorter-term of connected transport and the longer-term of automated transport, and to reflect the role of local authorities and their responsibility as connected, cooperative and automated transport evolves.
